Raven Jane featured on new single out Feb 2
DENVER, CO., Feb. 2, 2021 – Luke the Knife (Luke Miller – keyboard, guitar in Lotus) today released “Better Mind” the first single from his debut solo album DISCO NAP – a head-nodding mix of disco, funk, house, and downtempo. The bright, Nu-Disco track features gospel-tinged vocals from Denver’s Raven Jane that reimagine the traditional spiritual, “You Better Mind,” inspired by Bessie Jones’s 1961 a cappella recording. The single was released to help promote the album’s Kickstarter which seeks to raise funds to support the production, distribution, and marketing of the album.
